so i haven’t made these in a while so figured might as well go for round 2 to show some of my improvements throughout the years, this time lets go with hyouka 

lets go all the way back to the start when i just was learning the basics

2014:

so its pretty horrendous, timing, frames, grain all ugly af but in my defense i didn’t really have a step by step guide to gif making back then like we have nowadays with everyone so everything i made was experimental and mostly ugly

now lets move to 2015

its a solid improvement but colours are a bit bland and theres very little frames and the timings too fast instead of too slow like 2014 lol

lets move on to 2017 now

pretty much everything is fixed, colours/timing/frames and gif is pretty clean too for a gif with only 128 colours or so, not much to say since theres nothing really wrong with it (although i wish i used pattern)

ill add more examples but wont do commentary for them because it’ll be the same thing really as this one, it’ll go from top down 2014/2015/2017

since this post is getting long, i’ll add more examples to my next post without commentary
